How fit do I need to be to do this trek?

Annapurna Base Camp is a Grade B or a moderately difficult trekking route. So any fit person can do this trek, even if you do not have any previous experience. You should be aware of what to expect and mentally prepare for it. Then, as long as you will too, you can.

How long do we walk every day when doing Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

On average, you walk about 4 to 6 hours per day. One or two days can be as less as 3hrs and one or two days can be as long as 7hrs.

What is the highest altitude reached in this trek?

The highest altitude reached is 4190m. This is the elevation of Annapurna Base Camp. ABC is the highest we will climb in this trek.

What about battery charging and hot shower facilities?

Yes, you can charge batteries en route. Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well. You may have to pay a certain amount for both ($1-$2). Negotiate. Also, a hot water facility could be free at a lower elevation.

Are there ATMs on the way to Annapurna Base Camp?

No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.

What about internet access?

Yes. The Internet can be accessed in most places. Sometimes, there might be some technical problems. The Internet in Nepal is not as fast as you are used to and at times you can just lose connection.

Is it necessary to hire Guides/trekking agency for Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

Not really. It depends on you. If you want, ABC trekking can be done independently. You could hire a guide and a porter by yourself instead of going through an agency or not hire a guide at all. Although, not having a guide can be a little problematic during the offseason. It really depends on you. Is it your first time in Nepal? How confident are you of being able to find your way around? How pressed on time are you? If you go through an agency, it will be costlier but everything will be planned. You will only have to come, trek and return.

How much do guides and porters cost?

For the Annapurna region, pay for guides range from $20 to $30 per day and porters take $15 to $25 per day.

Your memorable Rajasthan journey begins from Sealdah Railway Station. Meet our Tour Manager and
fellow travellers before boarding the Sealdah–Ajmer Superfast Express (T.NO..12987/TIME..10:55).
After completing all formalities, the train departs towards the royal land of Rajasthan. Spend the night
comfortably on board as your exciting holiday begins.

Day 02 :

Arrival at Jaipur.

Meal Plan: Dinner Only.
After a long but comfortable train journey, arrive at the beautiful Pink City– Jaipur (Arrive 11:15PM).
Our representative will receive you at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel. Complete the
check-in process and relax after the journey. The rest at the night is free to freshen up and prepare for the
sightseeing ahead.

Day 03 :

Jaipur Sightseeing. Approx. 45 KM | 2 Hours.

After breakfast, begin exploring the magnificent capital of Rajasthan. Visit the beautiful Birla Mandir,
followed by the astronomical wonder Jantar Mantar, the grand City Palace, and the iconic Hawa Mahal.
After lunch, continue towards the majestic Amber Fort, famous for its royal architecture and history. On
the way back, stop at the picturesque Jal Mahal for photography. In the evening, enjoy shopping at
Jaipur's famous local markets before returning to the hotel.

Day 04 :

Jaipur– Ajmer– Pushkar Approx. 150 KM | 3.5–4 Hours.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey towards the holy town of Pushkar. En
route, visit the world-famous Ajmer Sharif Dargah, one of India's most respected pilgrimage sites. Later
continue to Pushkar and after lunch visit the sacred Pushkar Lake, the only famous Brahma Temple in
the world and the colorful local market. Spend a peaceful evening beside the holy lake.

Day 05 :

Pushkar– Chittorgarh– Udaipur. Approx. 305 KM | Approx. 7 Hours.

After breakfast, leave for the romantic City of Lakes– Udaipur. On the way, visit the historic Chittorgarh
Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that reflects the glorious history of Rajput bravery. Continue to
Udaipur and after hotel check-in, visit the magnificent City Palace, beautiful Lake Pichola and peaceful
Fateh Sagar Lake. Enjoy the charming evening atmosphere of Udaipur.

Day 06 :

Udaipur– Mount Abu. Approx. 165 KM|Approx.4 Hours.

After breakfast, drive towards Mount Abu, Rajasthan's only hill station. Surrounded by the Aravalli Hills,
the pleasant climate offers a refreshing experience. After hotel check-in and lunch, visit the famous Nakki
Lake and witness the breathtaking sunset from Sunset Point.

Day 07 :

After an early breakfast, check out and drive towards the famous Blue City– Jodhpur. Upon arrival, visit

Day 09 :

Jodhpur–Jaisalmer Desert Camp.Approx. 330 KM |Approx. 6 Hours.

After breakfast, proceed towards the Golden Desert City of Jaisalmer. On reaching Sam Sand Dunes,
check into the luxury desert camp. In the evening, enjoy traditional Rajasthani folk dance, cultural
performances and bonfire. Guests may also enjoy Camel Ride or Jeep Safari at an additional cost.

Day 10 :

Desert Camp– Jaisalmer City. Approx. 45 KM |Approx. 1 Hour.

Day 11 :

Jaisalmer–Karni Mata–Bikaner. Approx.355 KM |Approx.6–7 Hours.

After breakfast, begin the journey towards Bikaner. En route, visit the famous Karni Mata Temple,
popularly known as the Rat Temple. Continue to Bikaner and check into the hotel after arrival.

Enjoy a relaxed morning before checking out from the hotel. Visit the magnificent Junagarh Fort, one of
